."The Skip" directed by Jenny Grainer, is based around 5 women who demonstrate the different levels of people's perspective to others discarded items.

Spring 2011 Production

"This is unbelievable!" were the words uttered by Chris Winstanley, the director of the Algarvean's Spring 2011 production "Honk the Musical" when he worked out that almost 50 people auditioned for a part in the show.
"Feedback has been fantastic" said Nikki Weijdom when describing the reaction of the people who came to the auditions.
The other great news for the Algarvean's is that the cast has a number of new members taking lead roles as well as parts in the Chorus. The cast of over 30 people is one of the largest ever for an Algarvean show.  Hard work begins in the first week in September with rehearsals commencing and will continue until curtain up in mid March 2011.
