Director: David Butler-Cole
Musical Director: Graham Cooper
Performances: Lagoa Auditorium. 4th, 5th & 6th November 2008
We couldn’t have wished for better responses from our audiences and the press. Timed to coincide with Armistice Day, the show, a satirical look at the events of the First World War was expertly directed by David Butler-Cole. With music and songs from the period, the authenticity of the costumes and props the show was a great way to show our audiences what our members and production team are capable of.
The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal was the charity chosen to receive a percentage of the ticket sales from this show. Committee are happy to say the sum of €1,626 has been donated to this charity. Together with the raffle which took place each evening and poppy sales, the British Legion were delighted that the total sum of €3,000 was raised at this event. A letter of thanks has been received from the RBL thanking us for our generosity.
