The shortest performance ever took place on the Friday night - due to a local power cut just after the first chorus!

Malfica is miffed by not being invited, so pronounces the curse that the Princess will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die! Flim and Flam the flunkeys are sent to collect all the spinning wheels in the Kingdom.

Benfica, the good fairy, and Prince Harold, with the audiences' help, get time to pass quickly so that the hundred years are up. The Princess Aurora is awakened by the prince's kiss.
